A chain of related articles

*Whew!!*

This commentary is in regards to the following article (READ IT!!!)

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/31775881/

The article is Step 1 of Wall Street's publicity effort to quell the "populist overreaction"

http://oldphartbsa.newsvine.com/_news/2009/06/29/2982562-wall-street-sets-campaign-on-populist-overreaction-update1-bloombergcom

Step 2 is to make smaller, less noticeable bail outs that are no longer subject to review or regulation by Congress or, god forbid, the press.

Each of the links are to reputable articles (in other words, I didn't write them, Bloomberg, MSNBC and the Financial Times did)

The steps lead to the "Bubble" bubble.

Which benefit

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/5723930/Goldman-Sachs-bankers-in-line-for-record-bonuses.html

There is a picture developing that we won't see in any one publication, we will have to read from a variety of sources...even those that are in opposition to what our personal beliefs may be. (Huffington Post vs American Spectator, Daily Kos vs American Thinker, Russian Times vs Al Jazeera, etc)

Pres. Obama is probably like most of the rest of us, book smart yet dumber'n'@!$%#, and don't know what he don't know.

He, like most of us, has a world view that he has been carefully taught to see (while we may have opposing worldviews we have been carefully taught to see).

There is much more going on here than our american media cares to inform us about, our money is worthless....period...already. Treasury Bond sales are reported as "depressed" as the yield (the interest paid on the bonds) increases. The entire World is already considering dropping the dollar as the medium of exchange (which is a BIG GOD DAMNED DEAL!)

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601110&sid=aqA9QhRSNeqM

And seven months into the year, the $100 you have stashed away in December is now worth $98.86.

(The last is my own research and no one will like it)

I used to read some of the conspiracy bull @!$%# about new world orders and new "amero" currency (I have a 20 amero piece but it is a hoax coin I bought to rattle bankers I deal with [I'm the corporate controller for about 32 companies and they are aware of our local impact and my obnoxiousness after our local bank was bought by the Chinese.]) I didn't believe a lot of it, but what we've witnessed over the last nine months has been astounding.

At the rate of change made to our way of life -- as the pace of headlines appear that I, some dumbass, predicted back in October (some within hours of my speculation), -- and the continued push for laws, edicts, and czars that are blatantly Unconstitutional (let alone the antithesis of the Rule of Law) the more I fear my more dire predictions may come true.

The link above is really chilling when you look at the date I posted it and then read

As I said, I'm a simple accountant, but my employees are starting to call me the "Prophet of Doom". I, like most of us, am pretty ignorant on a @!$%#load of things, so I don't have any idea how to imagine how things can get better in less than a five or ten year span (IF we survive!).

I don't give our current crop of Congressvermin credit for the intelligence to change a light bulb, let alone orchestrate this massive @!$%#-up on purpose. [Capitalizing on it to gain power is a different story, however!] They are being lead by someone(s) or something(s) to make these idiotic policies and programs.

That thought leads to this: Ex-Goldman Programmer Described Code Downloads to FBI (Update1) - Bloomberg.com http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=a2GvteRoihQE

"The proprietary code, worth millions of dollars, lets the firm do "sophisticated, high-speed and high-volume trades on various stock and commodities markets," prosecutors said in court documents. Facciponti said a person misusing the code might be able to "manipulate markets."

The QUESTION is: Why does Goldman Sachs have software that can manipulate the market and why isn't the PRESS all over this?

Rather than sit on your ass and @!$%# about it, start actually doing some real homework on your own. Start reading from alternative sources of information. Find arguments that you will never see on MSNBC. Look for honest debates and discussions.

LEARN you ignorant fat-assed fool!

There are too many things happening to quickly for any one individual American citizen to track, particularly when we have kids, jobs, mortgages that we're clinging to, responsibilities that we don't shirk off, and community activities that have real meaning.

Regarding the original premise of this thread...

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Focus on an idea for an article without the profanity symbols.

Gee... I write articles about the economy and finance and no one reads them. I haven't decided yet whether it's because they don't care, or that they find the things that define their lives and their futures boring, or they just don't understand. I'm always happy to explain things in simple terms - but no one ever asks.

So... if you go to my page, you'll see fewer and fewer articles because I've decided that either 1. no one cares so why should I or 2, the American people themselves are dumber than dog @!$%# and I'm wasting my time trying to teach fish to walk on the sidewalk so they don't get run over by the cars.

If you decide to go to my page and look at things, a lot of the information I put out is in my comments. You might want to look at them too. Otherwise, I have other things to do... I spend waaaay too much time here and it appears to be wasted.
